Work with me

Welcome.

I am Yin, a somatic practitioner and artist, primarily working online with the Hakomi method in English and Mandarin. I am currently completing a four-year therapist training in Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy with Halko Weiss, one of the method’s originators.

I offer somatic and body-centered care for those navigating challenges or seeking a greater sense of embodiment, empowerment, and well-being. Sessions are shaped by what your body-heart-mind communicate in real time. My approach centers on creating a loving, non-judgmental space for you to unfold, meeting you with presence, curiosity, and tools that support meaningful change.

From here, you can learn more about me, how I work, who this is for, or book a session. Sign up for my newsletter below to stay up-to-date on when and where you might be able to book an in-person session or join community gatherings. I offer somatic sessions virtually throughout the year.

I look forward to connecting and supporting you on your journey.

How I work

Somatic psychology

Somatic psychology recognises that our patterns live not only in the mind, but in our body. Our body holds the maps of our experiences, and my training in Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy helps me support you in exploring those maps.

Hakomi is a mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy method that helps you access, understand, and transform limiting core beliefs and patterns that often influence how you react and feel from moment to moment outside of your awareness.

It is based on the idea that a person’s system naturally seeks growth and wholeness when provided with the right conditions. Through compassionate self-study in mindfulness, supported by limbic attunement, unconscious core beliefs become conscious, allowing new choices to emerge naturally.

Somatic movement as a tuning fork

Somatic movement is central to my practice and a tool I use to continue deepening mindfulness and alignment. My approach is informed by hatha, kundalini, butoh, and sacred mantra principles. Sensing the relationship between the body and gravity, the voice and heart, finding rhythm where movements, breath, voice, and imagination become one, helps the body-heart-mind realign.

These traditions honor the power of intention, creativity, mindfulness, and community, inform how I hold space and follow the guidance of your system with presence, curiosity, and attunement. In practice, they may support reconnecting with the emotional body, working with triggering emotions, or serve as self-care rituals between sessions.

Disclaimer: I do not assess, diagnose, or treat mental health disorders or complex trauma. If you are under psychiatric care, take medication, or have a mental health disorder and/or medical need, please consult an appropriate clinician in your country.

Somatic session

online - 60mins - from €55

Rooted in Hakomi work, online somatic sessions offer a grounded, supportive space to explore your inner experience through mindful awareness and nervous-system attunement.  In these sessions, we slow down enough to notice what is happening inside - sensations, feelings, impulses, imagery, or memories. From moment to moment, we observe the subtle shifts in the system with curiosity, exploring them deeper through gentle experiments and the spontaneous reactions that arise. Together, we find a pace that is appropriate to the present state and needs. This collaborative, experiential process allows unconscious patterns to become conscious and be met with compassion, thus supporting meaningful change.

Online somatic work is particularly supportive for those who feel stuck or overwhelmed by emotional/behavioral patterns, inner conflicts around life transitions, and work-life challenges.
